As Head of Environment for North America at Nokia David Conrad is responsible for the integration of global strategy with regional programs, creating internal and external environmental awareness programs to interface with customers and influence consumer behavior.
Additionally, Conrad is accountable for monitoring and influencing proposed legislation and interfacing with internal teams to drive sustainable practices. The global team works together to ensure a positive global green effort for the benefit of the environment and Conrad heads the North American efforts. Nokia is a leader in CSR and environmental issues, currently ranked number one by Greenpeace and has been identified as the world's most sustainable technology company according to the 2009 -2010 edition of the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes.
