Katherine DalPra

Katherine is owner/designer for Green Diva, a fashion jewelry line that expanded to become the first eco-conscious bridal jewelry and accessories boutique founded by a bride, specifically for the bride.

After struggling to find the perfect bridal jewelry for her own wedding, Katherine turned her disappointment into a passion and trained in the art of jewelry making in order to give other brides and style savvy women what she couldn’t find...luxury jewels custom made to fit her style and taste. But in the process, she uncovered a dirty secret about the jewelry industry and her mission quickly became about more than just good fashion sense. As a result, Katherine’s designs support artisanal livelihood, Fair Trade and low impact sourcing of gems, pearls and metals.

Today, Katherine is an advocate for sustainable commerce and an eco fashion, wedding and lifestyle writer for The Green Girls, Feelgood Style and Green Diva as well as a Style Expert for the Green Bride Guide. Katherine’s work has been featured in The Knot Green Weddings and worn by celebrity actress Emily Deschanel.
