Ryan Thibodaux

Ryan was born on May 8, 1981 in Bossier City, Louisiana. At age 14, his family moved from Katy, Texas to the famed Napa Valley where Ryan developed a strong affection for wine as a high school student. In June, 2007, Ryan graduated from California State University, East Bay, with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an option in Entrepreneurship. He also attended Napa Valley College, Chabot College (briefly), and U.C. Davis (even more briefly). Ryan currently resides in Oakland, Ca with his wife beautful wife Poppy. He is a devoted vegan, worm composter, avid reader, news junkie, film junkie, Guitar Hero on PS2 junkie, and, since 2002, author of his own political blog, The Higher Pie. Ryan was also a biodiesel homebrewer for a couple of years, but decided to go completely carless in the summer of 2007. You can now find him biking to and from Oakland's fabulous farmer's markets and health food stores.
