PETA, famous for their “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” ad campaign, is pretty upset with NBC. Their latest ad, scheduled to be shown during the Super Bowl, was rejected by NBC for being too sexy. The ad shows various female models enjoying their vegetables, with the tag line “Studies show vegetarians have better sex. Go veg”.

Some clever techies confused PETA supporters today by pulling a well-executed prank against their campaign to “re-brand” fish as sea kittens.

For at least a couple hours today, the internet was abuzz with the fact that www.SeaKittens.com had an Omaha Steaks ad smack-dab at the top of the page. But PETA can’t really be that careless, right?

New McCain Ad on Global Warming Features Obama’s Praise

In an intriguing shift of tactics, the McCain campaign reminds the public that he has historically worked diligently to reduce global warming. By using Barack Obama’s own praise of his past global warming proposals, perhaps McCain is trying to narrow the perceived divide among parties, on this issue.

TV Guide: ABC Airs Oil Ads While Refusing Solar Power Advert

In a bit of TV Mis-Guided, the ABC Network is refusing adverts by Al Gore’s We Campaign all the while running ads on oil for Chevron.

The campaign is working to get the ad aired on the next 20/20. The ad details how massive ad dollars spent by oil and coal companies is the key reason America hasn’t switched to cleaner renewable energy sources. Help the We Campaign get this advertisement aired!
