Hats say a lot. They can show what we do for a living, what teams we root for, even what part of the country we live in.

Today, your hat can make another statement: Express your support of a cap on carbon pollution by showing EDF your carbon cap.

Please submit your photo today. We’ll feature Action Network favorites in our upcoming Earth Day video.

With climate legislation moving in the House, there is no better time to show your full support of a cap on carbon pollution.

It’s easy and fun to take part. Here’s all you need to do:

This is a guest post by John Simonetta, owner of Proforma Simonetta Freelance, an eco-friendly promotional items consultancy (see proformagreen.com). John’s blogs are designed to keep us up to date on the “greening” of his industry.

Vitronic Promotional Group has likely got the nicest low cost organic cotton cap on the market. They rock because Vitronic prints them with an eco-friendly process as well, so they are super green. We wrote about these caps earlier in the article 100% Organic Caps with Eco-Friendly Screen Printing.

Well Vitronic was back at the 2009 Proforma regional meeting in Dallas talking about their caps - more colors for 2009 - their matching organic cotton totes and expanding of their V Natural line in general. Take a look.

This is a guest post by John Simonetta, owner of ProformaGreen, an eco-friendly promotional items consultancy.
Proforma Green got our samples in today of the new 8650 V Natural™ Organic Cap by Vitronic Promotional Group, one of our manufacturers.

These caps are great. The 8650 V is a casual unstructured cap made from 100% organic cotton with a Velcro closure and a 3.25″ crown.

The bonus is that they come in multiple colors - Green, Natural (as shown), Soft Blue, Soft Pink and Soft Yellow - and Vitronic can use a sustainable process for dyeing and finishing on these 100% organic cotton caps, so you can show your commitment to the environment.
