Kids can learn about animals, global warming, how their environment affects their health, and much more. The curriculum is bright, fun, and a great tool for helping kids learn more about protecting the earth. And right now, you can get a free membership.

Kids for Saving Earth is a non-profit organization that was founded as a small club by Clinton Hill, an eleven year old boy that loved the earth and could not understand why people would hurt it. After dying from cancer at a young age his parents established Kids for Saving Earth to carry on what he had begun. Years alter Kids for Saving Earth is still going strong, providing education and inspiration for kids who care about the Earth.

U.S. schools spend more on utilities than books and computers combined.

Public schools spent $8 billion on utilities in 2002, up by $2 billion from 2000, and the fluctuating utility and oil prices can be daunting when planning for the future. Although natural gas and oil prices have come down significantly from their high last July, it is important to remember their recent impact.

The world is fast becoming more complex and it’s problems of sustainability are easily keeping pace. In a world that is increasingly more interconnected how do we prepare our children to face these problems with an eye toward creative and sustainable solutions? This question is the inspiration for Facing The Future, a non-profit organization based out of Seattle, Washington. Facing the Future’s aim is to arm educators with curriculum and resources to raise student’s awareness of global sustainability issues and give them the critical thinking skills necessary to come up with solutions.
