Billionaires for Wealth Care have created this rousing anthem to satirically support our nation’s for-profit health care industries. The group was counter-protesting at last week’s teabagger anti-health care reform 9/12 rally in Washington D.C.
According to the Billionaires’ website they are:

A grassroots network of health insurance CEOs, HMO lobbyists, talk-show hosts, and others profiting off of our broken health care system. We are not a political, religious or even particularly well-organized group. We’re simple folk, thrilled profiteers pouring out of our corner offices to dance on the grave of “Change.” We’ll do whatever it takes to ensure another decade where your pain is our gain. After all, when it comes to health care, if we ain’t broke, why fix it?

In a clear reference to the Republican voting record on renewable energy tax credits, and McCain’s personal views on the issue, he said, “Even today, as oil companies post the biggest profits in history—a half trillion dollars in the last five years—he wants to give them another $4bn in tax breaks. But he voted time and again against incentives for renewable energy: solar, wind, bio-fuels. That’s not change; that’s more of the same.”

Thousands of Democratic delegates and members of the press may have had one of those “ah-ha” moments at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Tuesday night when former mayor, Secretary of Transportation and Secretary of Energy during the Clinton administration, Federico Peña took to the podium at the Democratic National Convention.

For the vast majority of attendees to the event, plane travel was the preferred method of travel. And of those who flew into Denver, virtually all of them had to drive (or were driven) down Peña Boulevard, which connects Denver International Airport to Interstate 70. As mayor of Denver, Peña led the effort to build the airport - and hence led to the ah-ha moment for the visitors many years later.
