The environment and interior ministries in Peru have announced plans to set up a special task force to safeguard forests and monitor the rivers in the Amazon basin. The special force will be made up of around 3,000 officers to be known as the Environment Police.

Founded last year, RegionzKidz is the first company I have come across that combines eco-friendly clothing with cultural sensitivity. Caricature images of toddlers from various ethnic backgrounds and settings are featured on 100% organically grown cotton tanks from American Apparel. You can chose your image options, which are printed using water-based inks.
Created by a local artist, RegionzKidz multicultural clothing features eight characters (four boys, our girls) in four ethnicities (Caucasian, Hispanic, African-American, Asian).
