Rebekah Green has been globally aware and environmentally conscious since the second grade. Throughout her life she’s done a lot for the “green” movement.

Her latest efforts include a sustainable line of earrings made from recycled gold. She even has several designs devoted to children.

Including these precious little turtles which will be going in my daughter’s holiday stocking…if I don’t snag them for myself first (because I adore turtles).

Here’s another budget and eco-friendly stocking stuffer: Scandle Body Candles. These amazing candles burn and melt at low temperatures and the candle “wax” can be poured onto the body and used as an oil for massages, spa treatments, manicures and pedicures or just for pure enjoyment at home. And the candles are less than $25 and will fit perfectly in a holiday stocking.

The holidays are creeping up faster than any of us would probably like. Before Halloween is even over the stores are already putting up winter holiday displays. As always I try to start early though I hardly ever do. Time just flies by so fast.

But I have been keeping an eye out for great eco-friendly products that are reasonably priced (like $25 and under) that would make great gifts and stocking stuffers.
