Readers may have noticed that in my last few posts I have been focusing on promotional items that can be used by Ecopreneurists for marketing in two rather large October events, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Halloween.

Both of these events can provide Ecopreneurists an opportunity to involve themselves in their local community, while also raising awareness of their services.

Indeed our office just donated custom printed biodegradable Halloween bags to the Denver Children’s Museum for their Trick or Treat Street event. This is going to be short, but it’s good and it matters. Balms with Benefits is the rockin-est thing to hit the shelves in ages. It’s a simple concept, you get a lip balm and add quality aromatherapy to it so that the loveliness on your lips cures what ails you.

I’m sure it’s been done before, but I doubt it’s been done like this. My kids and I got all eight flavors in the mail last week. They’re pretty. Don’t discount pretty, pretty matters. Alexander and Jane were immediately taken by the rainbow of colors, they removed each lid and sniffed.

And then the horrible happened. Alexander (age seven) said, “Mom, what’s PMS?”

My family has tested out seven of the nine new Kiss My Face Kids Collection.  The following product reviews combine my daughter’s and my own perspectives:

• Kiss My Face Kids Shampoo & Bodywash:  This product is very sudsy, which kids enjoy, and the bottle makes it very easy for children to use themselves promoting their independence.  My son, who has very sensitive skin, is able to tolerate this product, and my daughter was the one who discovered you squeeze the bottle to get the soap out.

Have I mentioned I’m a lip balm addict??? Yes, I do confess.  I have more lip balms than I can count on two hands, but you won’t find me recommending every lip product on the planet. Because frankly, I do have my standards.  They must not be greasy, disappear in a few minutes or be filled to the brim (or at all) with any petrochem nasties, artificial color or flavor. 

But this is not a balm or gloss, it’s a lip conditioner perfect when in need of a little (or a lot) on-the-go pampering!  When you’re in a suit or a cocktail dress, do you really want to be seen pulling out your ninety-nine cents tube of (hopefully not petroletum filled) lip balm? I didn’t think so.  Why?
